Baseball has been very, very good to me! I have been an avid baseball fan since 1966, when I discovered the New York Mets. 2008 will mark my 40th consecutive Shea Stadium season opener!! I have been collecting sports cards and non-sports cards for over 20 years. I started with the 1986 Topps Team set of the New York Mets (which my sister gave me as a Christmas present, thank you very much!). I have baseball cards from 1952 to present. (A majority of them are from 1980 to present). I have Topps, Fleer, Donruss, Score and Upper Deck. I also have some odd ball items as well. (There was a point when I tried to collect everything. Boy was that the wrong approach!!)
To date I have approximately 75,000 baseball cards, and even a few thousand football, basketball and hockey cards. I do not consider myself to be a dealer. I am a collector.
I have all my sports cards listed for sale on NAXCOM. Just follow the link below to find them. I will tell you up front, that I have not used any professional grading system. Some of the cards I have sold, have been graded at 8 or better. (Someone told me that a Tom Seaver card I sold was graded at a 10!!)
Do you have a favorite player? With all the cards I have, I am sure I can put together a good selection of your favorite players. Check out the Major League Players page where you can find some the cards of some of the best players in the game of baseball today.
Besides selling cards, I also trade cards to try and complete sets that I have in my personal collection. There are links below of the cards I have for trade, as well as my wantlist to complete sets. I do all my trading on The Bench. There is a link for it on my Links page.
If you are interested in anything here, please drop me a line cardnut@cardnut-sports.com, and please tell me where you found my page. I would like to know.
